You can show with NO:ID Gallery as a presented artist, as a represented artist, or within the framework of a group show.
Presented artists
Presented artists are basically using the gallery space to set up their own show under agreement and with advise from the gallery management and head curators. There is a flat fee for this covering room hire, advise, hanging assistance, and online publication through the gallery channels such as the gallery website and most common online listings. We keep this fee as low as possible, aiming to have leverage in selecting our artists. On all works shown there is a one-year sales percentage to the gallery. Each show gets its own micro-site on noidgallery.net that is there for good, linking to your own pages. Presented artists are usually either represented by third party agents or representing themselves.
The space in 31 Commercial road has a good format for solo shows. Please understand that we can only accommodate group shows if there is a strong convincing curatorial concept behind it.
A usual route to take is to have a solo show as presented artist. Once you have done this and are through this stage, you may become a represented artist, or you may act as agent / curator for other artists.
Represented artists
Represented artists are entering in a long-term relationship with the gallery where the gallery is offering in-dept career planning consultancy, development of a business plan, offering exclusive representation, and the production of print materials, press liasion and personal print invitations, follow ups, contact database managment, designing and managing your independent artist website in coordination with the micro site on noidgallery.net, and pro-active promotion of the artist by the gallery for shows in other spaces, competitions, fairs, etc. in the national and international curriculum.
